Where in San Diego are Jesse And Shelley?

We took a little vacation at the end of January to sunny San Diego. We had no real plans for what we wanted to do . We ended up having a really relaxing time and saw some really cool stuff.

At the Zoo

We spent one day at the San Diego Zoo. We used public transport to make our way to the zoo. People were very friendly and we made it to the zoo and back no problem. There were lots of cool animals. We watched a lame sea lion show, took the bus tour, and took a gondola ride.

Old Town San Diego

We spent one day in the historic Old Town San Diego. There were a lot of differant buildings all telling the history of the area. It was all very well done and did not cost us anything. We had a great mexican lunch at a diner up the street.

At the Beach

We were able to walk to the beach. We visited it a couple of times and enjoyed the sand, surf, and ice-cream. We never made it into the water as it was quite cold but did watch a lot of surfers in the water.

Our Hotel

We stayed at the Dana resort. We liked the hot tub and pool as well as it's great location. We had a normal room and ate some of our meals at the hotel resturants.

We had a great trip.
